Full Member:
- Be at least 15.5 years old
- Be able to commit to one 4 hour shift per week and two 12 hour Sunday shifts per year
- Be an EMT or commit to becoming an EMT within 12 months of joining
- Be able to pass a general criminal background check (if over 18)
Part Time Member:
- Be an active member in good standing with another emergency ambulance agency
- Be an EMT
- Be at least 18 years old
Associate Member:
- Commit to remaining active on one of TVAC's committees
- Note: Associate members do not respond to calls and instead help the ambulance corps in other ways such as fundraising, training, planning special events, etc.

Events
TVAC is proud to serve the Teaneck community in a multitude of ways. In addition to answering all requests for an emergency ambulance response within the Township of Teaneck, TVAC also provides "standby medical" for events including sports games, block parties, street fairs, religious events, etc. TVAC is also happy to offer, for local schools and camps, show and tell of our ambulances and equipment as well as safety demonstrations. To request TVAC for an event such as the ones mentioned above please fill out the form below at least three weeks prior to the event.
**Please note that TVAC reserves the right to deny any event based on the availability of our members and ambulances.**
